Second Maerz PFR lime kiln for El Marakby Steel in Egypt

Uni Lime, the lime division of El Marakby Steel in 6th of October City in Egypt, has successfully been operating its first Maerz PFR lime kiln for over four years. In less than a year, Uni Lime has become one of the key players in the quicklime market offering a quality material that has become a benchmark for high quality and has been sold to other steel mills and related industries.

As planned when the first kiln was built, El Marakby Steel will now expand its production facility with an identical lime kiln. Maerz Ofenbau AG is proud to be able to support Uni Lime today in the expansion of its lime production with the construction of the second 150 tpd Maerz PFR lime kiln.
